ARMOR Jewelry

images via ARMOR

Okay, so Armor Jewelry has definitely been added to the fall wishlist!  These pieces are so simple and unique; yet, they are able to completely transform an outfit.  There are several other styles on their website which you can check out here.  Also, if you happen to be in the NYC area then you can visit Sucre, a boutique which carries Armor jewelry as well as the Alice Yim collection.

Closet Love

It has been pretty chilly these past few nights in NYC, and the slight breeze reminds me of fall.  It's almost time to put away the sundresses and sandals.  I have decided, recently, to re-organize my closet to make room for my fall wardrobe -- this is never easy!  I found these images, which will serve as inspiration and also a guide to complete this closet transformation.

Loving this spread from Elle France July 2011.  Amazing, right?

Friendship Bracelets

How gorgeous are these friendship bracelets?  Taisa Veras has teamed up with Adrianna Unarreal to bring you this new line of friendship bracelets.  They come in these bright, fabulous colors: pink, yellow and orange.  Each set comes with 4 bracelets which can be worn separately or all together.  The unique charms are my favorite part about the bracelets; I want them in every color!  If you are interested in picking up a set of these friendship bracelets, take a visit to Object Mythology  Also, you can check out Adrianna's other jewelry designs at Adri Accessories and you can see what else Taisa has up her sleeve if you visit her blog Amahzing.

Inspirational Trip to Europe

Europe has the ability to inspire people through its architecture, museums, artwork, and through its many diverse people and cultures.  These are just a few pictures that were taken when Alice and Meret took their inspirational trip to Europe.  They had the wonderful experience of visiting Florence, Paris, London, Switzerland, and Rome.  If you would like to see more images from the trip visit our facebook page to have a look!

Must See | Midnight In Paris

I've seen movies that are filmed in Paris, but none have caught my attention as much as Midnight In Paris has. I absolutely loved the montage of random shots of Paris back streets and main attractions in the opening scene. Yesterday I started a Paris fund; I've never been and have made it a goal of mine to get there within the next year.

P.S. I highly recommend seeing this movie! I love the ode to the roaring 20's fashion!!

J'Adore Heidi Braids

Right before this scorching Summer heat rolled into New York City I decided to chop off around 6-inches of my hair. Although the shorter style is less maintenance and a very refreshing length, I miss the option to do fun hair styles such as this Heidi Braid look that Erin Featherston rocked while in Paris.
Bravo Erin, effortlessly chic!

The Glamourai | Fireworks

I love this Jean Paul Gaultier top on Kelly from The Glamourai.  The print reminds me of little galactic star bursts/fireworks.

New Blog Obsession With An Afternoon With...

Last night while perusing around online I stumbled upon a pleasant surprise which kept me up way past my bedtime. An Afternoon With...  is a blog by photographer Michael Mundy that features spaces and how people, specifically stylish, NYC taste makers & creative-like types, utilize and decorate their unique cool apartments & lofts.  Living in New York City it's always so interesting to see other peoples' apartments and how they decorate, but most importantly, how they make use of their tiny, or spacious spaces.  Take a look at some of my favorite photographs.

The reOrder Exhibit by Situ Studio

This is a new Exhibit at the Brooklyn Musuem created by Situ Studio, a Brooklyn-based creative practice specializing in design and fabrication.  These drapey, canopy-like structures are simply stunning!!  According to BrooklynMuseum.org, "The installation, reOrder, reimagines the classically ordered space to serve as a hub—a place for Museum visitors to congregate, relax, view temporary exhibitions, lectures, and, occasionally, see a performance."  I love how contemporary and chic these installations are.  They are aesthetically pleasing, yet they still serve as purely functional seating.  The reOrder exhibit will be held until January 15, 2012, I need to make a trip to the Brooklyn Musuem before then!
